A Visit from Salisbury Academy

Salisbury Students Visit the Department of Chemistry for STEM Outreach We organized a visit for a group of 17 students and two teachers from Salisbury Academy after they reached out to us. The group toured the Centennial campus and visited the Hunt Library as well as getting a tour of some the the state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in the Department of Chemistry.

Reach for the Stars be a Star

We organized a table at the Reach for the Stars STEM and Resource Fair for K-12 Students with Disabilities, who are interested in STEM and STEM Careers. This even was organized by Joann Blumfeld Catalyst and GIST Director for the Science House at NC State. The machine with the big disc in front of Ryan Chiechi is the Wimshurst demonstration from our repository of demos.
